: The Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) approved this study (DU/ZOOL/IAEC-R/2020/04). The procurement of animals from the wild was in full compliance with the permission and guidelines of the office of the Chief Wildlife Warden, New Delhi (Permit No. F.WLI/111/08/CWLW/383). All experimental procedures were performed in compliance with relevant institutional (IAEC, University of Delhi), national (CCSEA guidelines) and international standards. This study was conducted and reported in accordance with ARRIVE guidelines.
