: This study was carried out using peripheral blood obtained by venipuncture from the jugular vein of four healthy adult, 3–4-year-old ewes, with ethical approval by the institutional ethics and animal welfare committee and the national authority (license BMWF-68.205/0116-V/3b/2018) and in accordance with the ARRIVE guidelines. No human participants were involved in this study.
