: This study was approved by the Gulu University Research Ethics Committee (GUREC-2024-796). A waiver of informed consent was granted due to the retrospective nature of the study and minimal risk to participants, as it involved the analysis of de-identified medical records. All methods were performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST) guidelines (Sect. 5.8, 2014) for research involving human participants 29 .
