: Our study is reported in accordance with ARRIVE guidelines. Ringing activity in Botanical Garden and in Hospital Glade was always authorized by the respective authorities. Capturing and handling of animals was performed in compliance of Polish legislation, as well as corresponding EU regulations. Capture and ringing permits for bird ringers (AK, MM, MG, and JW) were granted by the Polish Ringing Scheme (Ornithological Ringing station of the Museum and Institute of Zoology Polish Academy of Sciences). All sampling protocols used were approved by the Local Ethical Committee and the State Office of Environmental Protection.
