This was a retrospective study, and the study data were partly derived from the publicly accessible medical imaging database DDTI (Digital Database of Thyroid Ultrasound Images), supported by the National University of Colombia, CIM@LAB, and IDIME (Institute of Medical Diagnostics) and partly from Hanzhong Central Hospital in Shaanxi Province, China. The Biomedical Ethics Review Committee of HanZhong Central Hospital waived the requirement for the written informed consent of the patients, because the selected clinical and imaging data in this retrospective study would not affect the prognosis and privacy of the patients.
