: Fresh rhizomes of the naturally growing Drynaria quercifolia (L.) J. Sm. (Class Polypodiopsida, Order Polypodiales, and Family Polypodiaceae) were collected from the North Bengal University campus (Lat. 26.84952; Long. 88.44081). The Taxonomy of Angiosperm and Biosystematics Laboratory, Department of Botany, University of North Bengal, verified the authenticity of the collected plant specimens and a voucher specimen (accession number: 09746) deposited at the herbarium of the Department of Botany, University of North Bengal.
