: Our experiment was designed to have participants view a series of images and make judgments about whether the images were real or AI-generated. Each session lasted no more than 30 minutes and posed no harm to the participants. We confirm that all methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations, with all experimental protocols approved by the City University of Hong Kong. Prior to participation, informed consent was obtained from all subjects involved in the study.
