: The study was approved by the ethics committee of the ICMR- National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (017/NIRT-IEC/2021) and informed consent was obtained from all the participants, and pregnant women were excluded from being subjected to chest X-rays. The prevalence survey was performed in accordance with the WHO’s guidelines for tuberculosis prevalence surveys.
