All participants or parents/legal guardians for participants < 18 years of age provided written informed consent. Persons who volunteered for human landing collection also provided written informed consent, were monitored for 3 weeks after collections, and if symptomatic and positive received treatment for Plasmodium according to the treatment guidelines of the country.
