: We obtained ethical approval and a waiver of informed consent from the Research and Ethics Committee of Mbale Regional Referral Hospital, approval number MRRH-2021-70. This was accompanied by administrative clearance from Mbale, Soroti, Moroto, and Lira Regional Referral Hospitals. All study procedures were done in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the 1975 Declaration of Helsinki. Confidentiality and anonymity of the participants’ information were strictly maintained throughout the study.
