: The ethics committee of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS) approved the study’s protocol and encoded it as IR.SUMS.REC.1402.049. Children’ parents were informed about the objective of this study and informed consent was obtained from each of them. Furthermore, all participants were made aware that their participation in the study was voluntary and that they could withdraw at any point. Additionally, they were given the assurance that their information would be kept confidential and participation in this study is free of charge. In case of children with overweight/obesity, they were referred to specialists to solve their problem.
