: The study was approved by the ethical review committee of Debark University, college of health science (protocol number: DKU/COHS/RCS/10/2022). Following the approval, an official letter of cooperation was given to the administrators of hospitals to get permission. After getting permission, a detailed description of the study’s purpose, procedures, potential risks, benefits, and confidentiality issues were clearly explained to the mothers or guardians of the neonates. After this, mothers or guardians who were voluntary to take part in the study were requested to give written informed consent. Moreover, confidentiality was maintained by anonymous reporting; and the data was used only for the study purpose. Generally, this study was conducted in accordance with declaration of Helsinki.
