: The research was performed according to the Ethical Standard Protocols approved by the Ethical Standard Research Committee of the Bangladesh Agricultural University Research System (BAURES), Bangladesh (Ref. no. BAURES/ESRC/58/FISH/2024). Additionally, in order to collect the intestines, the fish were euthanized by using Tricaine Methanesulfonate (MS-222) following the Bangladesh Agricultural University’s Institutional Guidelines for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The experiment was performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations.
