: The present research is purely based on field surveys. The ethical approval to conduct the study was given by the Ethics Committee of the Women University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Bagh (Ref No.: WUAJ&K/IEC/05) before initiating the surveys. In addition to this, legal permission to conduct interviews was given by members of municipality committee. A written Prior Informed Consent (PIC) was obtained from all the informants and/or their legal guardians after explaining the objective and consequence of study. The ethical guidelines provided by the International Society of Ethnobiology ( ) were strictly followed.
