: This study was based on an anonymous, voluntary survey of members of the Endocrine Surgery Section of the Spanish Association of Surgeons (Asociación Española de Cirujanos, AEC). Participants were informed about the aim of the study and data use. Therefore, the voluntary and anonymous participation of professional members, signifies implicit consent. No human biological specimens or identifiable patient data were collected; therefore, experimental protocol approval and informed consent were not required. The Research Committee of the Endocrine Surgery Section of the AEC ensured the survey respected the participants’ rights of data protection EU (2016/679 of the General Data Protection Regulation) and followed the Declaration of Helsinki (64th WMA General Assembly, Fortaleza, Brazil, October 2013) and approved the survey. The questionnaire was distributed via email, and anonymous responses were collected through the AEC.
