: All mouse experiments were carried out under protocol AD10003095 approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) at Virginia Commonwealth University. All experiments were performed in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations. The ARRIVE guidelines have been carefully followed during the course of this study. Maximal tumor size permitted by the IACUC is 2000 mm 3 , and mice were euthanized by carbon dioxide inhalation once their tumors reached the upper size limit.
