This study was based exclusively on retrospective laboratory work performed with bacterial strains isolated from patient samples during routine surveillance, and bacterial strains isolated from food samples during routine food safety monitoring. All laboratory procedures were conducted in accordance with relevant national guidelines and regulations for biosafety and pathogen management. No human subjects or identifiable human data were involved. Therefore, ethical approval and informed consent were not required.
