: This study was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee of Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia under the expedited review category (Approval Code: CONSTANCIA-CIEI-344-33-23). The project titled “Desarrollo y evaluación de un protocolo basado en la secuenciación MinION (Nanopore) para determinar la heterorresistencia en pacientes con tuberculosis directamente de muestras de esputo” was reviewed and approved on August 14, 2023 (Registration Code: 211560).
