Ethical approval: The study was part of a pharmacological observational study, named “Anti-PEG antibodies and their pathophysiological role in the personalized management of patients with hemophilia”, funded by the Italian Minister of Health. Ethics Committee approval was obtained on 26th January 2023 (ID 3289, study number 6513) from the Comitato Etico Milano Area 2 (approval number 24_2023bis). The study was carried out in conformity with the 2013 revision of the Declaration of Helsinki and the code of Good Clinical Practice. Consecutive adult persons affected with severe/moderate hemophilia A referring at the Angelo Bianchi Bonomi Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center of Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda, Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milano, Italy were asked to participate in the study and signed the informed consent.
