Ethics approval and consent to participate: The 2021 Zhuhai City Residents’ Mental Health Survey was an administrative public health survey authorized by the Zhuhai Municipal Health Bureau. The Ethics Committee of the Third People’s Hospital of Zhuhai approved the retrospective analysis of the previously collected survey data in 2023 (Approval No. 2023011901). The analysis was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and applicable institutional requirements. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants before the interview.
