Ethics approval and informed consent: Human serum samples were obtained from both healthy volunteers and IBD-treated patients. The study was approved by the local ethics committee, approval of Ethical Committee of Faculty of Pharmacy Comenius University Bratislava, No. 03/2025, and approval of Ethical Committee of Nemocnia Bory-Penta Hospitals a.s., issued 23/12/2024, for volunteer and patient samples, respectively, and informed consent have been obtained for the study involving patients and volunteers.
