Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study involved human granulosa-cell samples obtained from women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) because of tubal-factor infertility. Participants were classified into a PCOS group and a non-PCOS control group; PCOS was diagnosed according to the Rotterdam criteria. The collection and use of these human samples were approved by the Ethics Committee of Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital (Approval No. 2025KY222). Written informed consent to participate was obtained from all participants prior to sample collection. All procedures were performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
