: U.D. is a co-founder of and has an equity interest in Vetmotl, LevitasBio and Hermes Biosciences. U.D.’s interests were reviewed and managed in accordance with his institutional conflict-of-interest policies. R.C.F. is named on patents related to Cytosponge and related assays which have been licensed by the Medical Research Council to Covidien GI Solutions (now Medtronic) and is a co-founder and share holder (<3%) of CYTED. The Fitzgerald laboratory also has an ongoing collaboration with AstraZeneca. E.M.L. is an inventor on bioprinting technology that has been optioned to Organovo by OHSU. This potential conflict of interest has been reviewed and managed by OHSU. L.E.B. is a co-founder of and has an equity interest in HuMarrow and RegendoDent.
