As a service evaluation informed consent from individual participants was not required and service evaluation in England is exempt from ethics committee review (Health Research Authority Guidance; ). Participant confidentiality was maintained at all times with pseudo-anonymised data employed if data were transferred outside of the host institution servers, for example to University of Manchester for statistical analysis.
