: WH has had many research grants relating to cancer diagnostics from non-commercial sources and has been involved in developing a number of cancer risk prediction tools for use in primary care. He was the clinical lead for the revision of the NICE 2005 guidance (NG12) on the topic of selection of patients for cancer investigation.
