: Human small cell lung cancer whole tissue specimens from 6 SCLC patients were acquired in accordance with approval from Mayo Clinic, Institutional Review Board, Protocol ID: 12–004029, including informed consent from all participants. This study was performed in compliance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. All animal studies were approved by University of Minnesota, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, Protocol ID: 1810–36427A. The cell lines used in this study were purchased from The European Collection of Authenticated Cell Cultures (ECACC, Salisbury, UK) via Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO) and American Type Culture Collection (ATCC, Manassas, VA).
