: The DAHANCA discovery phase and collaboration with international partners was approved by the Scientific Ethics Committee and the Data Protection Agency of Central Denmark Region (j.no. 1–10-72-212-15 and 1-16-02-627-15/2012-58-006). The UMCG prospective data registration program has been reviewed by the local medical ethical committee and is considered as standard care. Written informed consent was obtained from participants for the purpose of genome-wide SNP profiling study as registered in NCT02435576 at clinicaltrials.gov. The Singapore replication study was approved by the local medical ethics committee at National Cancer Centre Singapore and is registered at clinicaltrials.gov (NCT04340024).
