Ethics statement
: The formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded glioma samples and freshly collected glioma samples were obtained from patients undergoing surgical treatment at Zhujiang Hospital, Southern Medical University. Both study protocol and informed consent were approved by the Ethical Committee of Zhujiang Hospital. Five- to eight-week-old Balb/c male nude mice were purchased from the Central Animal Facility of Southern Medical University. The protocols in the study have been approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee of Southern Medical University. All experiments with nude mice were conducted in accordance with local guidelines on the ethical use of animals and the National Institutes of Health “Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals”.
