: Kiel University has filed a provisional patent application with J.M.S. as inventor. It covers cationic intrinsically disordered antimicrobial peptides (CIDAMPs) as designer peptide antibiotics, as well as the application of CIDAMPs as disinfectants and for the prevention and treatment of bacterial and fungal infections (European Patent Application Number EP16199780.4 “Cationic intrinsically disordered antimicrobial peptides”).
