This study is part of a larger study (an observational clinical trial funded by a European Research Council grant) and is in accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation: a cohort of 5,000 participants are recruited, download a dedicated mobile application, receive smartwatches, grant access to their medical records, and are followed for two years.
