: Ethical clearance was obtained from the college health science ethical review board of Debre Tabor University with reference number of DTU/1099/23. Verbal consent was received from each abortion patients and health providers. Those who are unwilling to participate in the study were omitted. Names and other identifying information were not included in the study. Although the definition for sexually active men started from 15 years, we did not got any participant below the age of 18. Hence, there was no any need to take consent from guardians. In addition, all the research process was conducted in accordance with the declaration of Helsinki.
