: The study followed strict ethical guidelines. Interviewees were informed of the purpose of the study (that is done for the completion of the PhD, that the aim is to study financial crime) and received information on the focus of the interview questions. In the correspondence, all the information that they needed to decide was provided – done with caution so as not to influence answers. At the start of the interview recording, they gave verbal consent to the interview and that the findings may be used for academic purposes.
