: The University of Witwatersrand’s Human Research Ethics Committee (Non-Medical) approved the Quality of Life survey questionnaire and methodology used for this study under Protocol Number H19/11/09. The research was conducted in line with the relevant guidelines of the University of Witwatersrand’s Human Research Ethics Committee (Non-Medical) when human participants are involved. The ethics clearance was approved on 06 March 2023.

: The participants were asked for their consent to take part in and publish the results of the Quality of Life survey questionnaire. They were fully informed about the purpose of the research, assured of their anonymity and informed about how their data would be used. They were also made aware that there were no foreseeable risks associated with participating.
