: All procedures performed in this study involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. Ethical approval was requested by the author of this study on the following topic: “A consumer questionnaire aimed at exploring the consumer behavior of the Hungarian population towards craft bakery products.” The questionnaire details, research proposal, and informed consent for participants in this study were judged by the Interim Ethical Committee of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Doctoral School of Economic and Regional Sciences, and were approved by the Doctoral and Habilitation Council of Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences on 17 October 2022. The ethical approval has not been given an identification number. The survey only started after the ethical approval in December 2022.
: The survey was conducted online by using the LimeSurvey platform, where the introductory text of the questionnaire informed participants about: the scientific purpose of the research, only adults can fill in the questionnaire, their participation is completely voluntary, their answers are anonymous, and their identity cannot be identified, the LimeSurvey platform does not collect their IP address, and there is no risk for them to fill in the questionnaire. They have been informed that if they complete the questionnaire, the data from their answers will be used by the researcher conducting the survey for scientific purposes (and only for that purpose). With informed consent, all participants accepted and voluntarily participated in the study. No payment or other incentivisation was offered to participants. Participants were informed of the email address and mobile number of the researcher, who can be contacted if further explanation is needed.
