: This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) (Approval No. 72496 of May 18, 2022). All research activities were conducted in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations applicable to studies involving human participants. The scope of approval encompassed examining the content and linguistic features of supervisory written feedback (SWF) in ELT practicum supervision and investigating preservice teachers’ perceptions of the received feedback within the Saudi Arabian context. Methods included feedback evaluation forms, questionnaire and interviews.
: Informed consent was secured from all participants involved in the study. A total of 84 female Saudi preservice teachers provided their written informed consent by electronically signing a form (as the initial section of the questionnaire) that outlined the study’s objectives, emphasized the voluntary nature of participation, and specified that data would be used exclusively for research, prior to the study on May 19, 2022. Scope of the consent - The questionnaire was completed anonymously, and the collected data were processed without the inclusion of personal identifiers. The study did not involve vulnerable individuals. No payment was included.
