: The CoNavigator tool discussed in the paper is based on research that was originally conducted by authors 1 and 4. Authors 1, 3, and 4 of this paper are inventors and owners of the tool. Since CoNavigator is a tool being sold for various purposes and has the potential to generate profit, our dual roles could be perceived as a conflict of interest. Hence, to mitigate any potential conflicts and ensure transparency, we intentionally discuss both the potentials, challenges, and implications of using the CoNavigator tool in the case of ICARE.
: Originating from work done by an external evaluator and by two participating collaborators of the ICARE program, the data collection did not undergo formal assessment by an ethics review board. Nonetheless, all data collection and management under the study was based on prior informed consent and subsequent anonymization of all respondents in accordance with the principles of the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and the guidelines of the host University.
: Prior to data collection, informed consent was obtained from all study participants. Following data collection, all participant information was anonymized to protect confidentiality and privacy. These procedures ensured that participants’ rights and welfare were protected throughout the research process, in accordance with established ethical guidelines for human subjects research.
