: Separate ethical approval for the study was not required due the following reasons:- The research was conducted within the framework of a grant from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. Obtaining a grant from this agency requires compliance with strict ethical criteria related to all the phases of research implementation, including the data management plan, which are assessed when approving the grant.- Data collection was carried out by the research agency IPSOS s.r.o. IPSOS s.r.o. is an official member of the Association of Market Research and Public Opinion Agencies SIMAR, which has formulated and guaranteed research standards in the Czech Republic, including ethical ones, for a long period. Furthermore, IPSOS s.r.o. also a member of ESOMAR, the world organisation for market research, and undertakes to keep the ICC/ESOMAR International Code (available in English here: ) based on the stated facts, the research presented in the study was not subject to the need for further approval within the framework of another ethics commission due to duplicate evaluation of research processes. We acknowledge and declare that no breach of ethical rules has been made during the preparation and publication of the study. All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.
: Within the online panel, the research agency IPSOS s.r.o. obtains informed consent from the respondents during the registration itself. Respondents have to explicitly agree to the processing of personal data and to the conditions of membership. IPSOS applies anonymisation techniques to protect the personal data of all respondents as part of the data collection process.
