: The questionnaire and methodology for this study was approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee (in Portuguese it is named “Comitê de Ética em Pesquisas com Humanos”—CEP. The website is available, in Portuguese only, at: of the Universidade Federal de Alagoas (Ethics approval number: 70386823.5.0000.5013 / Process Number: 6.545.809). The project was sent to the Human Research Ethics Committee on 2023/09/23. It was approved on 2023/12/01 and its due date was 2024/12/01. We, hereby, confirm that all research was performed in accordance with relevant guidelines/regulations applicable when human participants are involved, of the Brazilian National Counsel of Ethics and Research (in Portuguese it is named “Conselho Nacional de Ética em Pesquisa”—CONEP. : A digital version of the Informed Consent document (created using Google Forms) was presented to the participants, before answering the questionnaire. Only the participants who stated that read, understood and accepted the terms, were redirected to the survey/questionnaire. The participants were all 18 or older (adults), who worked, during the time of the experiment, as evaluators involved in the Brazilian National Textbook Program (in Portuguese it is named “Programa Nacional do Livro e Material Didático”—PNLD. They were invited to answer the questionnaire from June to July, 2024. In the digital version of the Informed Consent, Prior to participating in the study, all participants were provided with pertinent information and required to provide informed consent through a consent form. By signing the consent form, they confirmed their willingness to participate in the research. To safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of participants, all data were anonymized. Any identifiable references were removed before any publication or dissemination of the study findings, ensuring the anonymity and protection of the participants’ personal information. Additionally, participants were informed if there were risks to them of participating.
