: This study was reviewed and approved by the Scientific Research Ethics Committee of Shaqra University and received the authorization for conduction from the Ministry of Education. All necessary steps were taken to ensure that participation was informed and voluntary. As the participants were deaf students ( >16 years), prior consent for their participation was secured from their parents or legal guardians in accordance with the ethical and institutional approvals mentioned above. To ensure that students themselves understood the nature of the study, a sign-language interpretation video was included at the beginning of the online questionnaire. This video explained the purpose of the research, what participation would involve, and that taking part was entirely optional. Students were given the opportunity to either agree or decline before proceeding. Informed consent was obtained from all participants who were involved in the study between 22 January and 21 May 2024. Only those who gave their own consent were included in the study.
