Competing interests
: The authors declare no competing interests.
: The study fully complies with the rules set by the University of Tartu Human Research Ethics Committee, the Estonian Research Council’s research ethics guidelines (checked at the project proposal phase, October 2023), the current legislation of the Republic of Estonia and other relevant standards applicable to our scientific field and aligning with the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki. The committee does not issue opinions on whether research requires approval; instead the decision must be made by the researcher. Thus, our study fully complies to the Estonian Research Council’s research ethics guidelines as not requiring the ethics committee’s approval since no vulnerable groups were involved in the study, no sensitive or special category information was analysed and all personal data (in our case, only of the authors) was anonymised. The Estonian Personal Data Protection Act Ch2 §5 declares that personal data can be analysed and published even without personal consent as part of academic (but also artistic and literary) self-expression unless it unduly prejudices the rights of the data subject.
: The participants of the research who are also the authors of the article gave their informed consent to each other in the form of verbal agreement for the recalling, writing down, and analysis of their research experience in an unpersonalised manner. The consent was given (Nov. 21 2024) prior to the beginning of the analytical process relevant for this article. The participants shared as much information as they could memorise, but considered relevant to answer the research question. They discussed the nature of the information to avoid harm to themselves and others, be it professionally or personally.
