In-country approval was also received from NACOSTI (National Commission for Science, Technology & Innovation), Kenya, on 15/06/2022. The procedures used in this study adhere to the tenets of the Australian National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research.

: All participants accepted to participate in this reseach freely. They received an explanation of the research objectives and of the importance of their input in the study; they were also able to discuss these further with the researcher, ask questions and clarify expectations before providing consent at the start of each research activity. Consent was obtained throughout the month of October 2022, as research activities were carried out.
