: The study titled “Determining the Awareness, Habits, and Attitudes of Turkish Language and Literature Department Students Towards Artificial Intelligence” was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of Çankırı Karatekin University, Türkiye (Approval/Application Code: 274bf8d3f3c443e9; Date of Approval: February 23, 2024) as compliant with institutional and national research ethics standards. The approval covered all aspects of the study, including the survey content, participant characteristics, data collection, and data analysis procedures. All procedures involving human participants were conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee, the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its later amendments, and relevant guidelines and regulations. The approved scope included an online, anonymous survey conducted with adult university students enrolled in Turkish Language and Literature programmes. The study titled “Awareness, Attitudes, and Habits of Turkish Language and Literature Students Towards Artificial Intelligence” was approved by the Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Committee of Çankırı Karatekin University at its 38 th meeting on February 23, 2024.
: Written electronic informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to participation. On the first page of the online questionnaire, participants were presented with an information sheet describing the aim of the study, the voluntary nature of participation, the right to withdraw at any time without penalty, and assurances of anonymity and confidentiality (no names, email addresses, IP addresses, or other identifying information were collected). Participants indicated consent by ticking an on-screen consent box, which was automatically recorded by the survey platform before accessing the questionnaire. Consent was obtained directly from participants by the research team and covered participation, use of data for research purposes, and publication of de-identified, aggregated results. The study did not involve minors or other vulnerable populations. Data were collected online between February 23, 2024, and May 18, 2024, and were stored securely with access restricted to the research team.
