: Ethics approval for conducting this study was obtained from the Institutional Human Ethics Committee of ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre (IHEC- 0522/R/S) on 9 September 2022, in compliance with the ethical guidelines set forth by the Indian Council of Medical Research.
: Participants were provided information on the nature of the study, its objectives, and procedures, both verbally and through a Participant Information Sheet (PIS). Each participant provided informed consent prior to their involvement in the study, and retained the right to withdraw from the study at any juncture and decline to respond to any questions they found uncomfortable. Personal identifiers were not used to safeguard data privacy and were substituted with alphanumeric codes. Informed consent from all the participants was obtained between March 2, 2023, to December 23, 2023.
