: Ethics for the study were obtained from the Conjoint Health Research Ethics Board (CHREB) at the University of Calgary, REB24–0903 (approved on July 18, 2024). All research was performed in accordance with the institutional guidelines and regulations. Written informed consent was obtained from participants before data collection.
: Written informed consent was collected from all participants in August 2024 before they completed the survey and personal reflection. Authors HM and AR emailed invitation letters and consent forms to all cohort members, who were asked to sign and return the consent form to indicate their participation. The scope of consent included participation, data use and analysis, and consent to publish. The consent form made clear that all data would be kept confidential and anonymous, outlined why the research is being conducted, how the data would be utilized and any risks of participation.
