Ethical approval: All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. The study was approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of the University of Hong Kong (EA240230) on 13 June 2024.

Informed consent: Written informed consent was obtained by the authors from all adult participants prior to their inclusion in the study. Signed consent forms were collected between September 2024 and April 2025, before scheduling the individual interviews. All participants were fully informed that their anonymity would be assured, why the research was being conducted, how their data would be used, and whether there were any risks associated with their participation. The consent covered their participation, data use, and publication.
