Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study was conducted in accordance with the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. The original data collection for proofreading manuscripts and interviews was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Research Institute of Translational Communication, Hunan Normal University (November 7, 2020/No. HNNU-2020-081101), for a PHD study on the translator’s behavior. The reuse of the dataset in this study for a different research purpose was re-approved by the Ethics Committee of the School of Foreign Studies, Fuzhou University (March 5, 2024/No. 2024030501).
Informed Consent: Informed consent for research participation, data use, and publishing was obtained from all participants in writing in December 2020, for a separate study. For the reuse of the data and publishing in this study, all participating translators and editors were re-contacted, and their approval was obtained in May 2024 in writing, including Mr. Liang Bing, Mrs. Wu Yunli, Mr. Zhao Yingfeng, Mrs. Wang Jiadi, and Mrs. Li Ying, and they have approved the statement of the surnames of certain participants in this article.
