: This study was granted exemption from requiring ethics approval; the reason for this should is the data used was taken from public domain resources present in the TripAdvisor networks of each restaurant: (a) it is impracticable to obtain consent due to the quantity and accessibility of contacts of the Autor of the comments in TripAdvisor; (b) there is no known or likely reason for thinking that participants would not have consented if they had been asked because they write their opinion in a public site, and there is sufficient protection of their privacy, and (c) the authors have anonymized their case report so that it does not include any potential identifiers.
: All responses are completely anonymous. No personal identifying information or IP addresses was collected. All analysis of data responses is completely anonymous. Data collection took place over the years 2021/2022, and all the comments on TripAdvisor of each Fado house were collected until March 2022.
