ETHICS APPROVAL AND CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE
: Collection and processing of material complied with international animal treatment standards in accordance with Directive 2010/63/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council dated September 22, 2010, on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes ( ). The Bioethics Commission of the Zhirmunsky National Scientific Center of Marine Biology, Far East Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, concluded that the ethical standards for animal treatment were observed (extract from Meeting Minutes no. 4 of May 7, 2025).
