: In preparing the article, S.Yu. Sokolov compiled and interpreted the velocity sections of the region’s upper mantle. D.M. Bachmanov compiled the tectonic map and geomorphological profiles of Central Asia. S.A. Sokolov explored the neotectonic structure of the Tien Shan and Altai–Sayan mountain system. Ya.I. Trikhunkov analyzed the neotectonic structure of the Zaisan basin and Saur. V.G. Trifonov performed a comparative analysis of the neotectonic structures of the region, the history of their development, and their relationship with the structure of the upper mantle.
