COMPLIANCE WITH ETHICAL STANDARDS
: All experimental procedures performed on animals complied with the standards approved by the Regulations for the Conduct of Work with Experimental Animals and the European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals used for Experimental or other Scientific Purposes (Strasbourg, 1986).
